Hallelujah!
Praise God from heaven, praise Him from the mountaintops.
Psalms 148:1
Jud
Weece
Executive Director
Jud Weece is the Executive Director for Camp Como. Previously, Jud was a campus
minister at the Christian Campus House, University of Missouri—Columbia
for nine years. Before serving as campus minister at MU, Jud served in the
United States Army during Operation Desert Storm. Following Desert Storm, Jud
married Sandi and finished his degree at Ozark Christian College before taking
a position at Discovery Ministries, a Christian wilderness camp in Southern
Missouri. His three-year position as a wilderness skills instructor at Discovery
Ministries provided him the opportunity to lead rock climbing, backpacking,
white water rafting and mountain biking trips nationwide. Jud and Sandi have
three children, Janie, Jacob and Jared. In his spare time, Jud enjoys being
with his family, hunting big game, rock climbing and other outdoor adventures.
Larry "Rosy" Roseen
Facilities Manager
In the 7th grade, Larry Roseen’s best friend called him “Rosy.” The
nickname stuck. He married Francie in 1974 and graduated from Ozark Christian
College in 1976. After directing a Christian camp in Illinois for 11
years, Rosy came to Camp Como in 1998 as the facilities manager. His
construction background and “fix-it” gifts make this a perfect
job for him. While Rosy is getting dirty at camp, Francie is usually
preparing the next worship service, quilting or being a friend to a neighbor.
Rosy’s off time interests include making period furniture reproductions,
reading mysteries, racing sailboats and riding motorcycles.
